The Community Addiction Awareness Committee hosted a public meeting on May 11th at Morse High School. The speakers included Eric Girard of The Family Restored, Kennebunk Police Chief Robert MacKenzie, Thomas Kivler, Senior Director of Behavioral Health at Mid Coast Hospital and Maria Beauregard, OPTIONS liaison for Sagadahoc County. About 40 people were in attendance for this inaugural event. The Bath Rotary Club’s Community Addiction Awareness Committee has been working since before the pandemic to bring a family addiction support program to the Bath-Brunswick area and are working tirelessly and patiently towards that goal.
